PHE TK16 is rosin modified phenolic resin which offers high melting ,high molecular weight good solubility ,self gelling type low tack resin.
Rosin modified phenolic resin is currently the best resin used in offset printing inks. It is based on alkylphenols (the phenols currently used in offset printing inks include phenol, bisphenol A, PTBP p-tert-butyl phenol, POP p-tert It is a polymer product produced by the chemical reaction of base phenol, PNP nonyl phenol and PDDP dodecyl phenol), formaldehyde, polyol and rosin. Rosin modified phenolic resin is a resin with high molecular weight and large structure.It is synthesized by the materials such as gum rosin, alkylphenol, polyols and paraformaldehyde,which through the reaction of poly-condensation, polymerization and esterification.

Storage:
The large contact surface the pieces of resin present make them susceptible to gradual oxidation, which can be more advanced in some batches than others. This can cause darkening and/or affect the resin’s solubility in organi solvents. Therefore, we strongly recommend keeping strict control of inventories at all times, and taking special care to ensure that the oldest material is used first. We suggest a shelf life of 1 year for this product.
