Adsorbent Activated Clay

This series of activated bleaching clay products features strong adsorption capacity, low oil retention, high activity, easy sedimentation and filtration, low acidity, and low acid return rate. These products are widely used in petrochemicals, pharmaceuticals, oleochemicals, and the decolorization and purification of animal and vegetable oils. They effectively remove pigments, toxins, and odors from edible vegetable oils. As a decolorizing agent, it is also widely used in the production of soap, plastics, resins, food, paints, detergents, and brewing. As an adsorbent, it is also extensively used in the removal of harmful substances such as organophosphorus compounds, organosulfur compounds, and aflatoxins. It can also facilitate the polymerization of olefins into high-grade lubricating oils and has a beneficial effect in the treatment of radioactive wastewater.

Features and Applications

This product is an off-white powder, insoluble in water, oil, and organic solvents. Due to its large effective pore volume, it possesses strong adsorption properties and capacity. It is non-toxic, has good thermal stability, filters quickly, and has a low oil retention rate.

When using, a quantitative amount of activated clay is added directly to the material under stirring. After stirring for a certain period, the refining process is complete. The refining effect is even better if the material is heated before adding the activated clay.

TK-1020 activated clay is mainly suitable for white oil, lubricating oil, petroleum jelly, waste oil regeneration (mechanical oil, lubricating oil, and other mineral oils), polyethers, etc.

TK-1040 activated clay is mainly used for industrial vegetable oils, paraffin wax, petroleum jelly, and white oil.

TK-1060 activated clay is mainly used for the refining of edible vegetable oils.

Packaging and Storage
The product is packaged in a double-layer packaging consisting of an outer kraft paper bag and an inner polyethylene film bag, or in a valve-type paper bag. The weight is typically 25±0.25 KG or as per customer requirements. When stored in dry conditions, with the packaging unopened, at a temperature of 0℃ -30℃, the shelf life is 36 months.
