Dibutyl Phthalate (DBP)

DBP is a non-toxic plasticizer with strong solvent power, mainly used in polyvinyl chloride (PVC) processing. It exhibits excellent compatibility with PVC resin, imparting good flexibility to the finished products. However, due to its relatively high volatility and solubility in water, it has poor durability and is not suitable for cables and products used in tropical regions. To overcome this shortcoming, auxiliary plasticizers such as epoxy esters are often added. Even at low temperatures, DBP remains an excellent plasticizer. It is widely used in various flexible PVC products, including films, artificial leather, sandals, and shoe soles. Additionally, it is applied in the manufacturing of rubber, paints, lubricants, and emulsifiers.

Application Fields
· As a primary or auxiliary plasticizer, it is widely used in flexible PVC products such as artificial leather, films, hoses, cable sheaths, and sole materials. It significantly improves the flexibility, cold resistance, and processing

· It is applied in nitrocellulose coatings, polyurethane coatings, and various adhesives. It enhances the film-forming property, adhesion, and flexibility of coatings, while improving the bonding strength and weather resistance of adhesives.
· As a solvent-based plasticizer for nitrocellulose inks, it enhances the gloss, fluidity, and drying speed of inks, suitable for printing inks, gravure inks, etc.

Storage Conditions

The product is packed in sealed containers and stored in a well-ventilated warehouse at room temperature, protected from light
and heat, and away from fire sources. The storage period is 12 months.
