Dioctyl Terephthalate (DOTP) is a high-performance primary plasticizer for polyvinyl chloride (PVC) plastics. Compared with the commonly used Dioctyl Phthalate (DOP), it has superior advantages such as heat resistance, cold resistance, low volatility, extraction resistance, excellent flexibility and electrical insulation performance. It exhibits excellent durability, soap resistance and low-temperature flexibility in finished products. Due to its low volatility, DOTP fully meets the temperature resistance requirements of wires and cables, and can be widely used in 70℃ resistant cable materials (IEC Standard) and other various soft PVC products. In addition to being widely used as a plasticizer for cable materials and PVC, DOTP is also applicable to the production of artificial leather films. Moreover, it has excellent compatibility and can be used as a plasticizer for acrylonitrile derivatives, polyvinyl butyral, nitrile rubber, nitrocellulose, etc. It can also be used as a plasticizer for synthetic rubber, a coating additive, a lubricant for precision instruments, a lubricant additive, and a softener for paper.

Wires & Cables: 70℃ resistant cable materials (IEC Standard) for insulation/sheath. Low volatility and high volume resistivity, suitable for power/communication cables.

Artificial/Synthetic Leather: Soft PVC for sofas, automotive seats and packaging, providing long-lasting flexibility and low migration.

Decorative Materials: Floor coverings, wallpapers and wall cloths, improving weather resistance and durability.

Films/Sheets/Pipes: Food packaging films, infusion tubes, hoses, shoe materials and foamed rubber sheets, balancing environmental protection and processability.

Toys & Stationery: Complies with children's product safety standards (e.g., EN 71), as a replacement for phthalate plasticizers.

 

Storage Conditions

The product is packed in sealed containers, stored in a cool, dry, well-ventilated warehouse at room temperature, away from light, heat and open flames. The storage period is 12 months.
