Colorless viscous liquid. Solubility The solubility in benzene is 4.2%, the solubility in ether at 25ºC is 0.8%, and the solubility in carbon-tetrachloride at 25ºC is less than 0.1%. 

APPLICATION
1.Diethanol-amine is the intermediate of herbicide glyphosate.
2.Diethanol-amine also used as a purifying agent for gases, and also used as a raw material for synthetic drugs and organic synthesis.
3.Diethanol-amine can be used as an analytical reagent, GC stationary liquid, softening agent and lubricant, also used in organic synthesis.
4.Diethanol-amine can be used as the acid gas absorbent, oxidant, organic synthesis, softening and lubricant. Gas chromatography stationary liquid (the highest temperature of 60 DEG C, solvent meth-anol), the selective retention and separation of alcohol, diol, amine, pyri-dine, quino-line, piper/azine, mercaptan, sulfide and water.
5).Diethanol-amine can be used as CO2, H2S and SO2, such as acid gas absorber, non-ionic surfactant, emulsifier, polishing agent, industrial gas purification agent, lubricant.
6.Diethanol-amine can be used as a thickener in foam shampoo and light detergent, used as softeners in synthetic fiber and leather production.
