Photochromic pigment and powder changes colour in the sun and under certain levels of UV exposure. The product turns from an almost colourless powder into vibrant colours if it is exposed to the ultraviolet rays. Once the direct UV source is removed from the product, it reverses back to colourless again.
After absorbing the energy of sunlight or UV, it's molecule structure is changed, which caused its absorbed wavelength to be changed allowing a color to appear. It revers to the original molecule structured and color when the light stimuli is dimmed or blocked.
Colorless to color (Base Color: White) Purple, Red, Blue, Sky Blue, Green, Yellow, Gray, Deep Gray, Orange, Orange Red, Vermilion, Mauve.
Color to another color: Yellow to Red, Yellow to Green, Yellow to Purple, Blue to Violet.
