D&C Red 22 Color code CI 45380 (Colour Index Standard)
D&C Red 22 acts as an organic coloring pigment. It offers high quality, extremely low impurity and consistent tone. D&C Red 22 finds application in formulating toiletries and personal care products like shampoos, conditioners, bath soaps, hair gels, toothpastes (transparent, opaque, stripes), lotions, deodorants, liquid soaps, hand washes, hair oil, after-shave and skin creams.
- In case of wanting to use water-soluble color in formula, cream, lotion, gel, serum, it is not recommended to choose this type of color. It is recommended to use EasyWash (easy to wash off) instead as the color will not stick to the surface. - This type of color is not for mixing in Make Up. - Any formulation of water-soluble paint should be added with a UV Filter.
Use: for all kinds of products containing water
Mixing method: Mix in water (water-phase) with heat resistance.
Usage rate: Used in very small quantities because the color is highly concentrated. Put a little at a time until you get the desired color.
Solubility: can dissolve in water
Storage: For long term storage Store at room temperature Do not expose to sunlight, heat, seal the lid tightly, the shelf life is at least 5 years.
