Product Description
Ceramic Pigment Vanadium Zirconium Blue
Vanadium zirconium blue: A sky blue high-temperature pigment for ceramic pigments. It belongs to the zircon class. The commonly used colorant raw materials are vanadium pentoxide or ammonium metavanadate. The commonly used parent pigments are zirconia and quartz powder, and natural zircon can also be used as the parent material. Vanadium zirconium blue is an artificially synthesized coloring mineral that uses vanadium as the coloring element and ZrSiO4 zircon as the color carrier. The color tone is sky blue, mainly used for building and sanitary ceramic glaze, can also be used for underglaze decoration, or as a color material for billets. Good adaptability to glaze, but not suitable for reducing atmosphere. Natural zirconia is crushed and sieved after calcination, with a particle size of 250-400 mesh. It is mixed with silicon dioxide, vanadium pentoxide, or ammonium metavanadate according to a certain formula, and the calcination atmosphere is weak reducing or neutral. The calcined semi-finished product undergoes processes such as wet grinding, washing, dehydration, drying, pulverization, screening, and color matching.
