Product Description
DMSO can be widely used as solvent and reaction reagent, especially as processing solvent and laddering solvent in the acrylonitrile polymerization reaction, and synthetic solvent and laddering solvent for polyurethane.
DMSO also for polyamide, polyimide, polysulfone resin, aromatic hydrocarbon, butadiene and Chlorofluoroaniline etc.
DMSO has the functions of anti-inflammatory analgesic, diuresis and mitigation. It is added in dugs as analgesia ingredient. It also known as "Omnipotent Drug"
This product is a highly polar organic solvent, which can be mixed with water in any proportion, and can dissolve general organic solvents except petroleum ether. At 20°C, it can absorb 30 (weight) of hydrogen chloride, 30 (weight) of nitrogen dioxide and 65 (weight) of sulfur dioxide.
It has strong hygroscopicity. At 20°C, when the relative humidity is 60, it can absorb 70% of its own weight from the air. The product is a weak oxidizing agent, and dimethyl sulfoxide without water is non-corrosive to metals. When it contains water, it is corrosive to metals such as iron and copper, but it is not corrosive to aluminum. It is stable to alkali.
