Fluorescent pigment hiding power
When an object is coated with a certain paint, the pigment in the paint can cover the background color of the surface of the object to be coated, so that this background color can no longer be exposed through the paint to reveal the ability.
Hiding power = pigment mass (g) / surface area of coated object (CM2)
Heat resistance
It means that at a certain processing temperature, the pigment does not undergo obvious changes in shade and tint strength. Refers to the resistance of pigments to changes in coloring power due to processing temperature.
It is worth noting: 1. While considering the high temperature resistance of the pigment, it is also necessary to consider its heating time.
2. What needs to be considered is the thermal stability of the colored resin itself.
Fluorescent pigments
Refers to the color change of the pigment under the irradiation of light. The light resistance evaluation is best in eight grades and the worst in grade one.
Fluorescent pigment weather resistance
Refers to the change of pigments to various forms of climatic conditions, including visible and ultraviolet light, moisture and temperature, and product color. After being irradiated with light, organic pigments will cause changes in the molecular structure of the pigments, which will affect the saturation reduction, and even fade to gray or white. The weather resistance of the pigment is rated at level 5, with level 5 being the best.
Fluorescence Pigment Resistance
Refers to the migration of pigment from the interior of the plastic to the surface of the product or to the adjacent plastic product and solvent. In the assessment, level 5 means no migration, and level 1 means serious migration.
The specific performance is as follows:
①Frosting: During storage at room temperature, the pigment particles migrate from the plastic / pigment system to the surface.
② Solvent exudation: The pigment component enters the adjacent solvent, and dyes and some organic pigments show such phenomena.
③ Plastic / plastic contact migration.
