2. Xenon lamp aging test

The aging process of the sample is accelerated by controlling parameters such as light intensity, temperature, humidity, and rain cycle. For example, the pigments in automotive coatings are often evaluated for their weather resistance using xenon lamp aging tests. Because cars are subject to various complex climatic conditions during use, xenon lamp aging tests can more accurately predict the long-term performance of pigments on the surface of cars.

3. UV aging test

Ultraviolet lamps are mainly used to simulate the ultraviolet part of sunlight to irradiate the sample. Ultraviolet rays are one of the main factors that cause the aging of many materials, so this method can quickly and specifically evaluate the resistance of pigments to ultraviolet rays.

4. Other test methods

In addition to the above methods, there are some other test methods, such as salt spray tests, acid rain tests, etc. These tests can simulate specific environmental conditions and evaluate the weather resistance of pigments under these conditions.
