Product Description
Calcium stearate is in the shape of white powder, insoluble in water, soluble in organic solvents such as hot benzene, benzene and turpentine, slightly soluble in hot ethanol and ether. It decomposes slowly and is flammable when heated to 400 C. It is decomposed into stearic acid and corresponding calcium salt by strong acid and has hygroscopicity. Calcium stearate is widely used as lubricant, slipping agent, heat-stabilizer, mould releasing agent and accelerant in plastic, machinery engineering, rubber, paints and inks industry, etc.
