Applications:
Chlorphenesin is suitable for preventing fungi in various cosmetics, including emulsions (creams, lotions), facial masks, gels, hydroalcoholic solutions, sprays, lipsticks, eyeliners, mascaras, shampoos, toners, serums, concealers, and makeup removers.
In cosmetics, it often works in conjunction with other preservatives, such as phenoxyethanol, methylparaben, methylisothiazolinone, potassium sorbate, and sodium benzoate. Its applicable pH range is 3-8, and it dissolves in water or glycerin heated to 65°C.
