THERMOCHROMIC – changing colour with changes in temperature Thermochromic granule is a range of temperature sensitive thermochromic pellets which change from colored to colorless as temperature rises. The color reappears when the temperature is reduced again.
Encapsulated Thermochromic pigments undergo a reversible color change that occurs over a temperature differential of approximately 2.8°C (5ºF).
The capsules are engineered to change color over a broad range of temperatures. Thermochromic granule has one concentration level of thermochromic masterbatch available (22%, w/w) in the form of powder and granular.
Thermochromic granule is featured by becoming transparent when heated. Thermochromic temperature is selective for many temperatuer levels, i.e. minus 10 - 0, 0-10, 10-20, 20-30, 30-40, 40-50, 50-60 and 60-70 ℃. Where in plastic, so long the processing temperature is below 220 ℃ and the polymer materials are transparent, our thermocrhomic masterbatch is applicable e.g. ABS、TPU、PVC、TPR、PP、PE、POE、PS… etc.
