At high temperature (above 50 degrees Celsius) or in an acidic (pH5) environment, the alkyl ether sulfate may decompose. The reason for the decomposition is the hydrolysis of the alkyl ether sulfate. Since alkyl ether sulfates are easily hydrolyzed at high temperatures, this product should be stored at temperatures above 50°C.
