Product description:
Vat Scarlet GG is orange red powder. Insoluble in water, soluble in o-chlorophenol, slightly soluble in hot chloroform and pyridine, insoluble in acetone, ethanol and toluene. It is yellowish-brown in concentrated sulfuric acid. Basic reduction chromophores are olive; Acid reduction cryptochromes are blue with green fluorescence.
