Acid Blue 142 is a reddish blue powder.
Soluble in water, water solubility (90℃) is 25g/L.
The aqueous solution was lake blue, a little precipitated when adding hydrochloric acid, and slightly yellow with precipitation when adding sodium hydroxide. An old yellow gelatinous form in concentrated nitric acid. It is old yellow to brown gelatinous in concentrated sulfuric acid, and turns lake green after dilution, accompanied by precipitation.
