1.Add an appropriate amount of diluent (water) or a mixture of alcohol and water to dilute the varnish according to the application conditions. To achieve gloss and abrasion resistance requirements, add approximately 5-15% diluent for roller coating, depending on the paper's condition. For online varnishing, use the stock solution. If the varnish viscosity becomes too high during application, add an appropriate amount of diluent to adjust to the appropriate viscosity.
2. The amount of varnish applied should be based on quality. Excessive dilution will affect gloss, abrasion resistance, and leveling. Conversely, insufficient dilution will result in poor leveling and slow drying.
3.The amount of varnish applied depends on the paper quality and gloss requirements. Generally, the amount for online varnishing is 2-5g/m2, and 3-7g/m2 for offline varnishing.
4.Drying method: Infrared drying, hot air drying, or heating tube drying can be used. The temperature displayed on the meter should be no less than 70°C during operation.
5.The varnish's properties will reach their optimal state after 12 hours of varnishing.
6.Equipment can be cleaned with water. Dried varnish can be removed with isopropyl alcohol or alcohol.
7. This product is an alkali-soluble varnish. When laminating cartons (paper), please choose a neutral or weakly alkaline adhesive (pH ≤ 8). When using starch glue or caustic soda glue (yellow glue), strictly control the amount of glue used to avoid excessive glue seeping through the varnish surface and dissolving the varnish, causing sticking to the paper.
